Answers from Fairbanks in the "Interior" of the state.

1. lake trout, rainbow trout, landlocked salmon(silvers), arctic char, burbot, and pike.

2. over 3 feet on the lakes, rivers may be less.

3. ice houses have to be off the lakes by the end of April, latest I ever walked on was the second week of May. Have pictures of my truck on the ice as late as April 29th.

All of the rainbows, silver salmon and arctic char are from stocking programs by the state department of Fish & Game along with some of the lake trout depending on which lake you fish. Forgot to mention in my first post that my oldest brother lives in Hastings, northeast of you.

A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work!!
