I went out last weekend, and wish I could answer this question.  Caught a meal, and thats about it Saturday.  Set tip ups Sunday and got a skunk.  Haven't even heard any real good reports about the lakes near me recently, but that should change any time now.  I know Maple Lake was getting hit hard, usually that means people have been doing well.

Just curious what your expectations are....I find that most lakes will stay consitant from day to day, but you have to find that consistancy spot. If you put your time in on the lakes, you will find the spots.

Pick one and LEARN it. Most lakes have better fish in them than what's accepted as it's average. You simply need to find them, bigger fish of a species act much different than standard ones. Get away from the crowd, investigate and try different approachs at different times. Tend to catch fish 1" or more larger than what the lakes known for. Why? I'm that little blip on the other side of the lake that probably knows something they don't, simply took the time to look when the "hot spot" got cold years ago.
