The Strap

Fished the strap  Today,Fishing wasn't great  but wasn't reall bad,Ended up with 2 keeper Jack and 7 Perch,Would have had 8 perch but had a little mishap.Fishing inside of hut I hooked a decent size perch after reeling it in I removed hook and tossed fish out the door  right into hole drilled in to ice for camera :o I think the dam fished winked at me as it swam away.Also caught lots of smaller perch and 1 small walleye,Spent  about 6 hours on Ice it was a great day, quiet and warm,Didn't light fire till about 4 pm

Hi SKI, Sounds like a typical day at Blackstrap, had virtually the same results last week myself. Will be heading out tomorrow as the wind is going to be down to around 20 kms  F.B.
