Took the  Brand new vex out of the box and put that model 18 to the test at Huddle Bay yesterday....Found  and watched  fish all day ,,,daughter and myself left with a pail full of nice keepers and caught  a ton but threw em back..I will never leave home without it ...The new  bottom amplification feature is absolutely awesome...Found myself watching the  vex and missing the bites more often than none...Egg  and breadcrumb + canola oil = perch fillets + 12 of Budweiser's finest =  yumm!  you were right guys.......

Does anyone run an end of the season sale on the vex....I said I was done buying stuff this year, but if a good deal can be had maybe I will pick one up.

I'm telling you guys, I will NEVER leave home with out my vex! When I can sit 5 feet from somebody and catch 6 fish to his one, I think its well worth the $600 bones :-)

My Buddy has Fl-8 5 years old w/new battery,he up graded,he takes good care of his stuff,he wants to sell it,reasonable.

Luke......  I am your father......  Come to the dark side of the force........  Oh, and the next time you use my vex all day plug the d#@$ thing back in.  I tried to go out with one of the storm troopers today and it died half way through the day.  KIDS!!! ;D
