Another good day for trout
« on: Jan 30, 2008, 05:07 PM »
Hi All,

Went out on Sunday with my pal Dave  for trout. Although Dave is a fishing addict like myself he normally fishes for walleye, and had never caught a Trout. He has fished for them on open water, without success and this was the first time he had tried through the ice. Anyway, my usual spot did not disappoint, in fact it was the best action i have had there so far this year. What made the day even better was Dave getting his first ever, he was sooooo happy when he finally landed it it made my day! Here are a few pics from the mornings fun. i also caught a bit of video of Dave's first fish.

PROUD OWNER OF 1ST LAKER

DAVE GOT HIS LIMIT TOO

I WASN'T GONNA MISS OUT ON THE FUN

ALL AROUND 20-25" BUT NICE AND PLUMP

( Dave's reel jams up just as he sets the hook and he does say Ah Poop at the beginning ...so please be warned before playing clip)
