Fly the Team Iceshanty Flag! Iceshanty Proshop
Hello, I recently purchased a Shappell S2000, and due to the recent cold snap here in Upper Michigan, I am seriously considering purchasing a heater. Due to a very limited budget, I want a small, very cheap, fuel efficient heater that will barely make the shanty tolerable in sub 0 temperatures. I don't have a snowmobile or ATV, so I really can't take anything that uses more than a 16.4oz tank as well. Does anybody know what sort of BTU output I would need to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.
Thanks, its at least a start. How much do you need to vent the shanty to keep the carbon monoxide levels down with a candle or two?
i just use my Coleman lantern serves two ways, light for night fishing or early morning and doubles as a heater
