Salmon Eggs
« on: Feb 03, 2008, 12:03 PM »
With so many options of size, color, and scent what are most of you using and why.  Myself I have only really used the small red ones.  Ive tried the larger   ones but they seem to explode if left untouched under water over night.  Ive also tried the small orange ones but seemed to have less results.  Should I be trying other colors like pink, green, or yellow?  My main target fish is rainbows.

If you're jiggin, Atlas Mike makes "Shrimp" salmon eggs which for some reason are killer on rainbows
I usually use the red ones
however, the ones that come in a gar of liquid (not just mike's) tend to disintegrate if you leave them in the water too long
