LONG SOUGHT FOR POND TODAY 1-13-08

Once again I did awsome at Long Sought For in westford. Caught about 18 pickerel and 1 bass. Small pickerel but fun to catch, they ranged from 8" to 20" and the bass was a nice bass too. Got some pics.

nice slime darts....the one 3rd pic down had nice markings...long yellow stripes, no chain pattern to it.

I had 7 inches of solid ice.

ya i was cautions at first yesterday but found my way on and drilled a starter hole to check and i was convinced 7 inches.

Did you get on at rt 40. or near the beach?

Those pickeral sure are fun to pull in on a jigging rod!

I was out there yesterday with my son we did about the same 24 pickerel and one Bass. I probably passed you toteing our jet sled.

I fished off the rt.40 side towards the middle around the corner to the left. and I pulled 6 or so pickerel jigging and the rest on tip ups.
