Sure thing  :) i was up Rt 9 this weekend and there is a ton of snow everywhere. The slush on the ice is horrendous as well. Couldn't even drive in to Alligator. I even tried Lower Lead but the 75 yards or so from the plowed road to the launch was at least waist deep snow never mind the 7ft high snowbank you had to clear first. I cruised around on Sat and there wasn't a soul out fishing anywhere. I even was going to go to Giles Pond just to screw off and catch some white perch but the slush on the ice there was at least 8inches deep on the ice. OK I'll stop my b***hing now but I do love it up there and will be back before and after the weekend of the superbowl. Good Luck send me a PM for more info or ??

I fished upper lead on opening day tons of snow on the ice and even more in the woods. Real hard to move around on. I caught nothing the group beside me had two flags and two fish one brown and one perch. Lots of good fishing in this area good luck. Oh yeah it had 8" of good ice and some slush.

I fished Alligator Friday through Sunday.  8-10 inches of ice, 4-6 inches of slush, and a foot of snow.

I'm just here to read what all the experts have to say.

Thank you everyone for the information. All the snow along the airline is melted off now, and the lakes are ready to be fished. I fished Georges Pond, Green, and Flanders Pond this past week up in the Ellsworth area. I caught a mess of perch and pickeral at Georges, pickeral at Flanders, and zip at Green. Didn't get that Brown or Togue I was looking for, but I will. I can't get top the deep water yet.
Anybody fish Craig or Heart Pond before in Orland? If so, how was your luck? Also any general locations on where to give it a try would be appreciated. Thanks.
