Well looks like it is going to be a long winter. If the ten day forecast that they are predicting comes true there won't be to much fishing being done next weekend

That forecast doesn't look to bad. Early on in the week there is plenty of cold to build ice. A couple days of slightly above freezing weather won't do much to harm the ice, it actually might help it, melt down the top layer of snow, then when it gets cold it will refreeze. I takes weeks for the lakes to freeze, it just isn't going to melt overnight when the temps are slightly above freezing. Just like any forecast it is only an estimate, they are never accurate, especially 10 days out.
