I enjoy walleye, bass, pike, crappie, perch, bluegill and just about every species that can be caught! I was just wondering if anyone had a good tip up set up , what kind of hooks and how many should I use, I plan on fishing near docks in by meyer's pier in Belleville and would like to see a big Pike come out of that area I know they are there! SOme spots are 12-15 fow some other 6-10 fow!

Mike, you are the walleye master and asking me for tips  ??? ???

I don't use tip-ups when fishing walleye. Most of the time I walk form hole to hole pounding them looking for active fish..If I find a few then I will setup along where there holding. My deadsticking combo consists of 28'' Med-light/Med-Heavy rod with a fast tip and a good reel to pair it. Main lines are 6lb and 8lb with a tiny barrel swivel to a Williams wobbler...No hook as I use a 8'' piece of fluro leader via the spoon.Hook sizes very depending on what the local bait and tackle shops have in there tanks. As the minnow kicks to one side, it gives the spoon it's flashy effect which I find helps not only bring in the fish but intrigues them to nail a bait. I use the same setup for crappies, brookies and pike too, varying the line diameter..

Jigging you can't beat the Buckshot Rattle Spoon for all species..
