Piseco Lake?
« on: Dec 09, 2007, 06:17 PM »
Is it skimmed over yet? Or still open?
I never do much there, but the view is gorgeous. Just wondering if it's anywhere near safe yet.
thanks,
Troutrifle

Not sure but Canada lake was closed up as of last Friday and it's near the same size and depth and Piseco is farther north.  Probably locked up but probably doesn't have more that a couple of inches of ice at best.  Hope someone can give you an eye witness account.

I drove Past Yesturday to go to Lake Pleasant and it was still open. Piseco is funny like that it takes time to freeze over.

Piseco will be open water and then it'll be a foot of ice not that long after.
