Sanford Lake 12-15-07
« on: Dec 15, 2007, 09:19 AM »
was on the 1st fill before it got light out this morning.

0 for 3. I started further up the fill and fished for about an hour in about 5 or 6 different holes. I was all over some sunken wood that produced for me last year and all spring/ summer and fall.

I only had one bite--I fought a sassy smally for a few minutes on 2lb floro. I had a 6" hole but I couldnt turn him around. He was a big fish 15-18 inches id say. He beat me and finally my tiny tear drop fell out.

I came back down and fished for about 30 mins in front of the house and had 2 small bites. The fish werent touching my pole until I put the pole in the rod holder and sat still for at least a minute or 2.

Also--no flags
