Stomach bug dampens fishing plans
« on: Jan 03, 2008, 07:15 PM »
Had many plans for various fishing trips this holiday season, however the flu bug ripped through our household like you know what through the proverbial goose.
Anyhow, needed to stay fishing close to home today for alimentary canal type reasons, so we tried fishing the mighty Souris River.  Only managed one eater size walleye and a hammer handle jack between my son and myself in about 1.5 hours of fishing this afternoon.

Great to get out in the fresh air.

Happy and healthy New Year to all!!!

Beachcomber,

I think we imported it from Saskatoon when we were there to start the holidays.  Anyhow, looking forward to a full day on the ice on Saturday, forecast says 100% chance of fishing.  Just hope the prediction is correct.

I guess that depends on whether you are making the prediction or Environment Canada  ::)
