Marquette area
« on: Dec 11, 2007, 08:02 PM »
I'm thinkin about fishing tommorrow but I can't decide where to go. So far I've fished Teal, Goose, Harlow, and Angeline. I'd like to get into some pike and perch, walleye would be a nice bonus. I'd rather not drive to far, 20 min or so. I was thinkin about trying deer lake in Munising-any thoughts would be appreciated.

Goose lake was no good. We marked a lot of fish but didn't have any takers. We tried swedish pimples, jigging raps, and waxies along with a few tip ups. The road to the access road is almost impassable without a snow mobile. I had it in 4x4 the whole way and almost didnt make it out. I've heard theres others access spots so I might try to find them if I'm ever out there again.
