I was planning on going out this friday or saturday, just wondering if anyone has been having any luck out there. I drove around a little last weekend and saw a few guys out but never got out there to talk to anyone. also wondering if there will be enough ice for a 4wheeler, good luck out there

I was out on little Angler's Bay Sunday evening.  Fished 8-9 foot water.  I caught a half dozen decent gills and one 13" crappie, and threw back a number of smaller fish.  Ice was 5" + 1" of white snow/ice, with about 2-3" of snow on top.  The bite was a little slow, but I got there late in the afternoon and left about 8:00 p.m.

There were areas on the way out to the spot that had slushed up and sort of refrozen, so it would cave in and drop me about 2" through the slush to the better ice.

Might go up to IGL again Friday night, but not sure what area.

anglers is good for perch,just have to do some sorting.

good to hear there are some fish being caught. I'll be down there friday morning maybe start at anglers bay but i'm hoping to find some eyes later in the day. I'll post my report on sunday when I get back home (SW MN)

was up there today.caught alot of little perch,3"-9"and caught and kept 7 that were 91/2 to 113/4.the little ones weren't very aggresive but the bigger ones were very aggresive.also caught some gillies and seen some very large eyes but couldn't get them to bite.

mudd, sounds like you had a decent time out there just wondering where you were fishing when you saw the eyes. I was out on big stoney last night in about 16-18ft only marked about 10 fish caught 2 both were decent 16-16 1/2. Hoping to find a little better bite next time out.

i was in anglers bay.fished in 6-10 foot of water.
