Alexander ice?

Any one have any ice report on Alexander by Pillager?

Snow and slush with small amount of standing water on the ice !!  ice is standard with 9 inches 1 1/2 " slush/water mixed

Thanks Hard Ice! It was about a year ago when you replied to basically the very same question from me. I am planning on hitting the lake on Friday. Will I have any problems making a trail with the ATV and plow to get a small wheelhouse out? My first few spots are only a couple hundred feet from shore. Hope to meet up with you out there sometime.

check the ice before you travel on it .. last time i was there ..there was not much snow   but sents then we have had 15" in the last week or so..

are you going off the west or east side ?

Ok here's todays report
about 12" of snow on the ice and about 3"-5" of slush
the access is plowed  on the west and east side of Alex
i would bring up a hard side yet unless it's a small one or you don't plan on leaving it on the ice..  lots of portables and just a few hard sides as of tonight..

the landing at fish trap has not been plowed yet and i'm not sure just how much ice is out there s it just froze up about a week ago ..

Ham lakes as about the same amount of slush under the snow but it froze up first so the ice may be a little thicker there but nobody has been on it yet..

Thanks Hard Ice! I am going to give it a shot starting tomorrow afternoon. If you see a couple of guys basing out of a red wheelhouse that will be us, so stop by and say Hi and have a cold one.
