I pass by it a few times a season and keep thinking about hitting the ice, but have yet to do so as it is further away then a few bigger I lakes I fish....If you are looking for  a place to fish one should not be hard to find as if you follow 62 out of madoc, there seems to be a lot of huts right at that fisrt s turn , they line up just passed the foot bridge....Im told they are walleye fishing

Icejunky, Thanks for the reply. The reason I haven't been back up to fish there was because we were told the fish were unsafe to eat. Supposedly there was a problem with arsenic leaching from the gold mines on the Moira River. We used to fish out of Pitts Landing on the north side of the lake. We always did well but didn't keep any of the fish.  Thanks again .   Lou
