a good story, but you have to wonder about the ice thickness. He had to know that the ice was not very thick or stable and he took some unneccessary chances. I have lived with and agreement that I made with my wife years ago... I will not walk on the ice unless there is six inches (yes, I still test it at the water's edge before I go out) and I will not drive on the ice unless there is a minimum of 12 inches. After all, they are only fish. Icefishing is my all time favorite sport, but I'm not going to risk my life and safety over it.
