Good taxidermist
« on: Mar 10, 2007, 10:56 AM »
This is not a thread started to debate the whole catch and release, fiberglass mounts are better, don't get skin mounts thing.

This is to inform people of a good taxidermist in the Western MA area, that charges reasonable prices.
This is a skin mount, and not a reproduction
I recently got this largemouth back from him and was extremely happy with it.  If you like what you see, PM me and i will give you his information.

You can not beat a good skin mount had one done of a striper about 10 years ago still looks great. Starting to split a little in the back. I think the reason is because I have it mounted high up in the a frame of the house and that is where all the heat rises. IF you get a chance pm me his name I would like to take my striper to hom to get touched up.

Thanks

It was 22 inches,  never got it on to an acurate scale, Taxadermist estimate high 5's. It's my PB for a bass so far
