Vexilar sells kits to mount them to your boat. It comes with a bracket and a transducer that is either a trolling motor mount or a transom mount. I have one for my boat and it is nice to use in the spring. I rarely use it now though, as the newer graphs will almost keep up with a Vex. Don't get me wrong I love my Vex, but you cannot use it as effectively for boat fishing. You can definitely find them, but fishing vertically for them like you do through the ice is very difficult. If you don't have a newer graph, I would definitely recommend putting the Vex on your boat. If you need any other info let me know. God Bless!

You can get them at The Angler in Helmer. They are about $70-$80 for the kit.

Moved mine up front and don't even use the graph anymore. GREAT for deep structure and dropshotting!
Lack of planning on your part in NO way constitutes an EMERGENCY on mine

I bought the dual cone transducer -boat mount from vexilar, it has a switch to go from a wide to narrow cone angle. I have used it on my boat for about 5 years. Its OK for looking for fish, the narrow cone is good to spot fish that sit on a steep drop off, I still prefer my Lowrance color graph on open water.I think the vex is best for ice fishing. I still keep my old fl-8 on my boat, got the new fl-18 for the ice.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

     Swedish,
You got the challenge part right, there is no question I love those eyes a few years ago I was fishing the
Kankakee River on a 4th of July,it was a Hot day and I was casting the main River with a Shad Rap
Rapala, and right at dusk I hit a hog Female. 31 ins. Long and 11 lbs the biggest one I have ever caught.
She is on my wall, and she is a AWESOME.I tuly believe the Indiana State record eye still swims in that
River.Have you ever fished the KanKaKee River ???? Its a special Place to fish......... I really
Love it.Lots of BIG fish out there.......... I believe the really Big Eyes die of old age ?????
       Walleye's I Love em............I better stop,or I can go,on and on.........
