Late season fishing tactics

So how do you guys change things up this time of year to catch more fish?

As the weather warms and the snow on the ice starts to disappear, I'll fish shallower flats. Watch the shoreline ice and go back to feelin' your way around with a spud like ya did on first ice.

  I agree with Quack.  I have had to wade ashore over my boots.  A warm day  with wind sure takes the shore ice fast. Spud O YA.

IF I COULD GO ...
I would only bring a few more friends, beer, a grill, a supply of venison backstrap, and fish as  I would a few weeks ago. When the fishing slows just fire up the grill, pop open a couple frosties, and ... you get the idea!

OK Guys...Read the statement after the 1st comma...That's what I've been doing...get this...NO FOOLING..either...in 10' of water and only 3' under the ice...Gills 8-9" long..and some 10's...

I really apreciate the offer but I am out for this season. Finishing up recovery from some real radical cancer related surgery. Everything went perfect with the treatment but it just slam dunked this season for me. I'll be back to full blast for turkey season, trout season, etc.
For right now I'm satisfied to hear all of everyone else's experiences out there.

I'd love to take you fishin in my new boat I bought just last year..Nothing Special..I trapped 243 Chipmunks for a guy at $50.00 each, and bought a 16'5" Lowe, 50 hp Johnson, Trolling Motor, livewell, etc....with a Radio..lol..

So, if you want to help me catch some nice Gills when they are on they're beds...I'll take ya...You'll be amazed.

What? You trapped 243 chipmunks?  :o Were they a nuisance to the guy or what? That's alot of chipmunks. How did you trap them? ???
