Tibbs and myself met with Bumps and his friends on Friday on flint..
 
This creature from the dark came out of noware. I decided to investigate.. walked up to it slowly
  no   kidding,  All of sudden this giant Rat lunged at me.  No kidding I ran and it chased me...  Something you only see in the movies..  Should have been that shaw funnie vidoes......

                                    Fish hardy  flaggs up all the time. :tipup: :tipup: :tipup:

That would have been hilarious to see. I might even have paid. I had a dream a couple of weeks ago that a beaver(the four legged mammal) attacked me, lol

rofl I was chased by a turkey one time, I saw a mother and some chicks go into the woods, so me being the brave 10 year old I was, I wanted a closer look. I ran into the woods following them, and then came running out with the mom hot on my trail. I got away but ive heard their wings really hurt you.

hey tibbs, I was out on flint again today. I saw those muskrats again!  I sent my friend over to investigate, hoping that it would chase him too.  Unfortunately, it just went back into the water. Not as funny as watching it chase you around! ;D

Hey Tibbs and Donnie..
Aside from a bit to much sun on my face, it was an awesome day...Good to see you guys out there...

Well,  we got the windows in my addition today and got some siding done. Looks like the same for tommorrow.
You guys fish today? I am probably going out tommorrow but it will be later in the day.  I think I am going to head to ripple. I have not fished it yet this year so it may be a good spot for a 1/2 day. You guys planning quabog tommorrow?  Anyhow, good luck where ever you end up...and Don, stay away from those friggin muskrats... they can be hazardous to your health  :)

I know a guy that had one grab his bait on the tip up and yanked the hook out of it intentially at the whole I was not there for it, but true story. He was by himself and he was not sure how he was going to handle the situation when he saw the little legs and tail kicking in the whole. I still laugh at him everytime I here the story.

I was up smelting in maine last week and there was a muskrat that kept poking his head up at different shacks, the first time he popped up a little girl started screeming soooo loud we thought something bad happened, but then we heard the guys 2 shack down from us start yelling because it came up in their shack. Lucky those things dont make a mess of the lines.

U have the worst luck....i rememeber u had a pike attack you and take a bite out of ya leg at the fish-offs a couple years back....it bled for hours if i remember correctly....just talked with Mass Wildlife...pin muskrat is 4 lbs.   ;)

...I am heading up to Northern VT today for a 3 day pike extravaganza...reports to follow
