carb kits

     Although this has probably been mentioned before, I thought it was worth posting. A buddie and I have '54 and '71  Jiffy 3 hp augers that needed attention. He found carb kits at the local Tecumseh dealer for $9.95. Came with everything needed to rebuild the carbs, same one for each auger. Had to order it but, the guy looked it up on his computer, 4 days later, nice!

Sounds like a good way to fix some of these new 3hp augers that don't run right. Maybe at the least get some real jets in them. I don't know though because I'm not a mechanic.
