Hey guys, im going to try a pond thats full of small mouth and its illegal to use live minnows , would dead ones work alright. Any other suggestions for bait/lures?

yah dead ones would be ok if thats all you can use but they dont expect great numbers

use them on a windlass tipup to give them some
action. you can add some beads and a blade for
some more flash. It works for large mouth

most of the time if i run out of shiners i just use some of the dead ones and it works but its not the best.
