marmish rods

hey guys i just bought a marmish rod for the season for perch, i was wondering did i spend my money wise ? and can u use like big jigs on them  or just small lil hooks?

Marmish has 5 different strike indicators for different weight jigs. https://www.marmish.ca/shop/items.html?type=4

They are definatly a nice tool to have in your arsenal and they take up very little space also.

I love the rods.  Have two.  I only use them with small jigs.  Bigger rods for bigger jigs.

well after i bought it my friend told me he was using his and the indicator broke and he was only using a small five a diamonds?  :-\

You friend must be one talented individual to break the spring. There isn't really anything on the spring to break.

the indicator that me and my friend have its like a piece of metal covered with paint the paint chipped off of his than the metal broke  :-\

  Contact marmish and let them know what happened. They may replace the spring that chipped and broke.

I pick mine up at the St. Paul ice show to avoid the shipping. Those springs are mega tough, it may have been defective to break that easily. I have never broken one and I am HARD on gear.
