Aqua-Vu problems.......

         Guys any thoughts.............. .
         I have a aqua-vu scout thats a little over a year old never been abused and used very little
         due to recent ice less winters.Anyway with our recent cold snap and finally fishable ice
         I pulled it out of storage and the picture is washed out and it appears the contrast control
         will not allow me to adjust the picture.I know this units warranty is up not sure what my
         options are ? I really wanted to use it for locating fishy spots for my tip-ups.
         Very dissappointed at this point  !!!!!! Any impute would be appreciated.....
