Ice Fishing adventure Pics
« on: Dec 08, 2003, 02:25 PM »
On our way up ice fishing, nice sunrise, didn't quite get the moose fully exposed.

This is around 9 a.m., sun is up, Rocky Mountains to the west

Here is the famous Jam Jam, notice what happens to your face when you let the scope on your rifle hit you in the nose. First perch of the year too.

Pic of Alpinehigh baiting his hook I think.

And here is the so so sunset looking west to the Rockies.

Wow you are a great photographer van. Nice scenery shots.
I just dont understand why you took a shot of me setting up a line and no pic of the first  and my walleye of the season. oh well.

I thought those cuts on jam jam's face was from the struggle he had with a grizzly over that perch?

Yes yes the grizzly that was it.

Man I looked beat up :-\  Wouldn't you know it...I take my first two deer with two shots...go back to the range to sight in for next year and bam...now I know not to get complacent next time!  I felt better knowing another guy did the exact same thing while I was there that day...I think we both felt better LOL...as we whiped the blood from our faces and chuckled.  Sheesh

Jam Jam,
It always happens at the range....I work in a gun shop and see it all the time during our shotgun season. On the bench you tend to hunch further forward than you do shooting off hand.
I'd work on that grizzley story!
Nice photos anyway.
