mosquito
« on: Feb 03, 2007, 07:08 PM »
Got out for the first time this year. Looking for some walleye action, didnt find any walleyes. I caught 12 real nice crappies and two dinks. they bit a horizontal jig with a tiny dropper tipped with maggots, 4 came on a small jigging spoon tipped with a whole live shiner. Fished off the yacht club in 22 feet of water. 5 inches of good ice and hard winds. not enough visability to use the camera...Mike

Been fishing Mosquito also and have yet to catch a walleye. Catching numerous panfish. The walleye's are somewhere, we just need to find them. North of the cemetery is where I usually do the best on the walleyes.
Some men fish real hard but only "real men" fish hardwater!
