I was just wondering if anyone uses circle hooks for pike, I have never used them, do you get better hookups, is there any difference in how they are used?

Discussed under the tip up board called circle hooks.
slowly changinng over to them. I fish waters with a lot of 18-25" pike so it allows me cleaner quicker releases. nothing negitive at all.

I'm still against using circles FOR PIKE.  I'd use them for almost anything other than really boney mouthed fish like pike.  Had my experiments with circles of different sizes and brands, never again...  If you can make them work, good on ya! :)

I've never had any problems hooking pike.  I don't see where circle hooks could improve that.  I also don't feel I have to change the way I set my hook into a fish when it bites because my hooksets are almost always very good.  I don't think my technique would be good with circle hooks.  When I feel weight, I strike hard and fast.

I may try large circle hooks this winter for cod and halibut in 200 to 600 feet of water but I have had great luck using "siwash" hooks so far for that.  I scrutinize my lines all the time when fishing on the ice so I'm on the fish real early.
