While you have a valid point, A lot of time Lake associations pay good money to treat weeds. Contrary to belief, they also educate themselves well before making a decision. Take Chapman for example; that particular association has developed a plan and targets the fine hair filament type moss through chemical treatment, leaving the native weeds in place. There are numerous groups that act in this exact manner. As far as walleye go, P.C. has almost no weeds but grows lots of walleyes and big ones to. Eye's are certainly structure oriented fish, unless the body of water is congested with shad, so if your weeds are gone try breaks, bars, humps, bottom transitions, faces of dams, saddles, pilings..etc..,
I'm certainly not arguing with you. You have a good gripe. As far as Bass goes, they have been treating it for weeds. They can't kill em all and now there are so many distinct weed edges that hold fish. Infact, I wish I could get out on it and drill some holes
