Otter II Sleds?

Finally get to get out but my new sled from Santa Claus doesn't have brackets for a rope.  I have the Otter II and was wondering what you guys use to attach the rope?  Allthread and nuts on each end and tie rope between each knuckle?  Thanks for any info.

I used 3/8" smooth shouldered 5" long hex bolts, with hex lock nuts, with the nylon inserts. I also used fender washers to keep them from digging in the the sled. Works good for me! Hope this helps. IR
