Finally got out

Was up near Maynooth this week for 3 days . I measured the ice the day we got there it was 7 iches . It was minus 20 that night.I drilled the same hole the next day and there was 8 inches. This was in a bay on the lake. We moved to another spot  down the lake about the same distance off shore but deeper water and there was only 5 1/2 inches. There were alot of slushy spots so we stuck close to shore with the atv's . There were 2 huts on the bay where we were. We caught 1 perch , and there was 5 of us.

That sounds great. I'm hoping to get up that way next Sat.  to check out a little specky action.
Was there much snow or would i be able to get around on a atv?

Only about 8 inches ,our bikes were fine in it.
