Help?!?!?!?!

I am from Fort Wayne Indiana and am a die hard ice fishing nut.  We have no ice here and I have only fished 3 days this year.  I am looking to go north to fish.  I am wondering how far north I will have to go to find ice.  If anybody has any ideas of lakes or guides or any information would greatly be appreciated.  Any ideas of where to go or anything is greatly appreciated.

We have ice in the Wausau,WI area.  My shack is on Lake Wausau, and they started driving out with cars and trucks this last weekend.  I measured 12" of ice.
