Mystery Pond in New Haven

 Has anyone around the local Fort Wayne area have heard about this pond in New Haven that everyones talkin about??   Im just not sure where its at,and I think its called Eagles or something like that.  Supposed to be near Home Lumber. Im not familiar with New Haven and wondering where it was located at. Any feedback would be appreciated.....Hang Tight  ITS coming!!!       Take Care        Jim

I work in New Haven at an Elementary School and also have a cousin that works at Home Lumber.  I will see what I can find out soon.  I think there is an Eagles right next to Home Lumber.  What all are you hearing chica?

Yup, it's the Eagle's post by Home Lumber (across the road). The property is up for sale, so not sure about access to the pond.

Some lady told me there was nice gills in there,but you know how that goes...She said it was ok to fish it.  Is this off of route 30???   Just wonderin    thanx    Jim

The janitor her at school said he had heard its an ok place to fish.  He thinks the Eagles did some stocking.  I will check around a little more and see what else I can find out.  I would assume that you would need to contact the realitor to get permission.

The pond is still owned by the Eagles. Its private property. If you are an Eagles member you can fish it. Its full of 2 to 3 inch gills. I have ice fished it, all dinks. It also is spring fed and 40 feet deep. I dont recomend fishing it as its dangerous. I am a past president of that club.
