Well I went out today and it was really slow, I was in front of the ski lifts(more or less) but a little closer to shore than I was yesterday, it was really slow, 3 perch and some tulibees, how deep  was the water where you friend was fishing? I am curious . I notice that people are spread out quite a bit at the mouth of the lake in front of mission ridge, I am just not sure what areas they are catching walleye in, would be nice to know.

Uses to live in the Fort, for walleyes on Mission I would work the southern shorline near the Fort were all the big chunks of concrete have been dumped over the edge.  I used to catch alot of walleyes there, and if your motivated in the summer it seems to be a prime location for big carp.

Could you tell me if you were close to the ski lift side or closer to the other side. I also was fishing in 30- 35 ft of water with swedish pimples with maggots (pink) and meal worms as well as minows. What lures have you found to have the most success? thanks

I am in 24 feet of water, in front of the ski hill and only use one lure a tear drop(bright yellow) my bait of choice is minnows sometimes half a minnow sometimes a full one. I am using my fl-20 and am seeing hundreds of fish. another thing is do yourself a favor and by a noodle tip rod it is so sensitive i do not miss a single fish well i dont land every one but close to
