Tried to get out tonight. Not so good yet. Tried heading out to a small pond in Washtenaw County, swamp around the edges of it. The water was higher last week so all the ice around the pond was floating above the water level. Only about 2 inches on the pond. Have to try again Wednesday. Did see 3 guys in the middle of Island Lake and someone fished the back bay on North Lake with a portable.  Desperate times my friends.
