Flat horn lake this Saturday
« on: Jan 03, 2007, 07:38 PM »
Well the holiday season is over and i finally have time off! I am heading into flathorn this Saturday. I will leave the parking lot at 730 if anyone wants to join the chefs traveling ice show drop me a line. It will be cold it will be deep snow but who cares it will be fishing! I have one other guy going with me. We are going to take a snow machine and maybe the 6 wheeler if the snow slows down a little bit. Thanks Chef Viktor

Oh yea common man down in Wisconsin, we will miss not having you with us. You are one of the few guys who had as much ambition and drive to get up at the crack of dawn drive 40 miles then drive a machine in the dark and sit on a bucket freezing your tail off! Gotta love it thats what makes it so special up here!

I may be interested in heading out there - either alone on Saturday or with my family on Sunday.
My son has hockey practice in E.R. until about 8:00 am Saturday morning, so it would be too late of a start for everyone that day.   Out other option was to head to Lake Louise for the weekend, but I have no plans made.

I am pretty jealeous, Chef.  It was 42 friggin' degrees here yesterday and we have no snow.  I've only been out a couple of times this year and I don't see it getting any better ice-wise.  I guess I can try to sit on my bow stand for the last weekend.

If you are taking both of your rigs, you must be taking a newby.  Have a shot of schnapps for me.

Its looking good for me on Saturday.   I try to give you a call tomorrow from work.

The moose is excellant.  Finally got the antlers hung on the wall tonight.   The little boy doesn't get first shot at nothing from here on out!

Viktor,
Missed you at work today.   I will try to catch you at McDonalds (close to my house) at 6:00.   I'm driving a red dodge and I'll have one snowmachine.

The only thing that might hold me up, is that I'm going to look at another snowmachine tonight and I may have to do something with that if I end up buying it.   I'll call you if I can't meet you there.  My cell is 382-2274.
