open water u find a good brooke trout stream u can catch as many as u want until dark. me and buddy have caught over 200 in half aday, 12''-18''. as for ice fishing we usally get are bows and browns anywhere from 4-14pounds through the ice, never any thing under 4pounds

almost forgot, the other day between camo_fish and i, we got over 60 lake trout jigging.
My jigging rod just gave up when fish number 25 slammed my tube

in about three hours in three ft of water fishing in the lake the fella died in his shack RIP,i caught 12 brookies 15-18inces,4 salmon,largest 23" 4.5lbthat one on a night crawler just below the ice .

I have caught 19 by my self in one day (nothing worth bragging about $:-\$ ) and probably upwords of 40 with the 4 of us.

yea, that was one awesome day on the ice, and that was my third time laker fishing. Man, what a day. If someone told me they put 35 lakers on the ice from 830a-1245p,

Does fly fishing count?? I got over 60 rainbows in one afternoon on a local creek one time......As far as ice goes....maybe 14 brookies in 4 hours........I got 8 brookies and 2 rainbows yesterday. I don't really keep track $:-\$ Aren't dollies fun through the ice though!!

i gotta resubmit, i caught a 32 incher the other day, and four over 9lbs in one day, with 10 total for that day.

well the 32.5 incher weighed around 10lbs...he was pretty skinny

Ok I did better.......13 brookies and one 2 1/2 pound rainbow. Biggest brookie was 15" and a bit under 2 pounds. I got a 27" rainbow the other day. Would have been 4-5 pounds in the summer but he was really thin.......not eating well.....found his stomach stuffed full of store-bought shrimp

12 brookies , smallest 15" largest 18" same day landlocks 6 lagest 22-1/2 inches 4.5 lbs smallest 17".......... best laker day,10 lakers over 23" largest 27", had more fish laker days but a little smaller average!

One stormy morning I caught a 15lb. rainbow, and later iced a brookie of 7lbs. And a few other 10lb. bows. Oh yea and 6 walleye over 5lbs., and two pike over 30in.

a couple years back me and a few guys got into the laker's. we caught 25 over 6lbs in one day. that same day we caught up words to 30 northerners over 12lbs
