Frozen Krill as bait?
« on: Dec 28, 2007, 06:10 AM »
Just wondering if anyone here has used frozen krill for bait? I bought a bunch to feed my aquarium fish but the stuff is huge. It looks like little pink shrimp. It is about 1/2" to 3/4" long, big enough to put on a hook. Maybe I'll get out this weekend and try it.

Where did you get it from?  Everywhere I've looked wanted $20.00 to ship it.

Very common food for large tropical fish, you buy them fresh frozen in packages. Aquarium stores and large pet chain stores like Petco or Pet smart will most likely have them. Forget the freeze dried type.

Cocktail shrimp are pretty much same thing. Great gill bait late winter.
