New shanty,
« on: Dec 14, 2022, 02:33 PM »
Hi all. Well after selling my Senco Super Shak I decided on a hub style this time as space is necessary. I got the Otter Vortex Pro Cabin Hub. Lots of room and for a clutz like me it was a good choice. I really like the square opening door design. No tripping over the bottom of the wedge opening which I have done on a friend's shack.  Now it's a waiting game for old man winter to show up. There's ice but it just formed so I'll wait a few weeks for thicker solid ice. I take NO chances. Hopefully this year will be good for smelt perch and gills. Might even do some jigging for walleye. ;)

Brian I did like the Senco but it was too big to fit in the back of my 4Runner. My former car was a Chrysler Aspen and was JUST big enough for it to fit. I have seen the Senco on craigslist a couple times.
