Protected pond down in a barrow pit hole that is protected is all locked up. Should be skating panfish by Friday night. 🤞🏻🙏

We've had safe ice here for a few weeks now.
And the fishing certainly has been good!
My handcrafted jigs in a color I call top secret were really killing the big trout the other day.

I found one small sheltered pond skinned over today, but we're heading into a big warmup here, so it'll be open water again by the weekend.

Was just capped but thinking by Friday should be good to walk on 15 ft from shore
