Cq Cq Cq W0AAA this is VA3GPK, camera and lure are fine, QSL. Thanks for the vid, nice setup. I myself am running and Icom 756 Pro 3 barefoot at 100 watts. Have not been very active on the radio this past year. If you lookup I am on QRZ as VE3IVU since VA3GPK is an alternate vanity call.  Icom primary HF with Yaesu doing the UHF and VHF, 73 my friend de VA3GPK
May your tip-up spool while your flag raises with hopes of landing the big one.

CQ CQ CQ, K3KTB calling CQ.  I'll be on the ice for winter field day.  I'm taking an IC-718 and a SuperAntenna, similar to a wolf rival coil

K3KTB WA8OWS... 5/9 into northwest lower Michigan :)
Unfortunately due to the Gesundheit Gestapo, they’ve pretty much put the kiboch on all the field day events and swap meets and all other fun things. Though I don’t see anyone boohooing about the PACKED grocery stores or “rebel” restaurants or religious events.... oh well. Maybe in ten years or so once Klouse schwabb and his cohorts finalize the great reset, we can start to live our lives again.... but I’m not holding my breath!

K3KTB good luck on the contest, enjoy the day.

Old man is a term of endearment in the ham community and doesn’t really refer to age per se. I was licensed at 12 years old and the term old man applied to me even at 12... i apologize for any confusion, or hurt feelings, thinking I was using that term as a derogatory term...

I did not take it as derogatory, my brain saw 73 year old man.  I was agreeing with the other part of your statement, plenty could be said on that.

Ha my brain does stuff like that too especially with notes from the wife!
73 is an old Morse code “code” for “kind regards”. Just a way to say good bye amongst ham operators.
Yes a lot can/has/ and SHOULD be said about what I was talking about. Sad days were living through now!

Have a great day sir!
