Gander Mtn- Mankato
« on: Sep 16, 2006, 11:10 PM »
Heard a rumor Gander Mntn isn't doing too well with Scheels as a competitor right across the road and is thinking of closing. Anyone else down here heard that? I love that store and it would be a  shame.

Scheels, Sportsmans Warehouse and especially Mills Fleet Farm are putting the hurt on GM in St Cloud too.

I went up to that Sportsmens Warehouse a few weeks ago in St Cloud, I was very impressed. Skipper, you forgot to mention that Cabelas being 45 minutes away doesn't help GM either.
