I have a Berkley scale I got from Walmart about  1 1/2 years age.  Used it 3 times.  Went to put the batteries in ( new ones ) .   It won't fire up. CK'ed the batteries ,  full charge .   Junk.
Don't buy the  Berkley   Model #BTDFS50-1.   Just a public service  note guys.
 Geo.

Actually I have a Berkley Tech Digital fish scale.  One of the best product I've used.  I think I bought mine from Gander Mountain/Outdoors.
For more information read my MN nice journal

I've had scales from Berkley and Accu-Cull.  Seems like 3-5 years is about what you can hope for in my experience.  If you only used your 3x, maybe email Berkley and see if they'll replace it?
My Setup:  Otter XL sled on a smitty.  10" Strikemaster Lithium 50 Volt auger.  Clam Bigfoot XL 2000 hub.  Garmin Striker 5 Ice Bundle.
