me too!  I almost blew my knee out when I was drilling through 2 feet or so.... handle came around and cranked the outside of my knee

my old man has one. got the free conversion kit from jiffy a few years ago. shes a little tamer now. buddy of mine has one and broke the trottle linkage on it so he wired it wide open. man that thing threw him on his a** and spun around like a hellicopter blade till it ran out of gas!! he still uses it. dang thing is dangerous!

that's right....the only time I had a problem was when it was glare ice and I didn't have my corkers on......I felt like an Olympic figure skater when they do those spins....ya know

i have one and still use it all the time and many a times when the brand new ones are laying on the ice dead that old blister is still standing drilling holes for someone i will admit it sat me down on the ice once  iam even thinking of putting a 10 in blade on the old girl

I have one that I bought at a lawn sale for 50 bucks. It cuts a hole faster than the Eskimo that my bro and I went half and half on. Like brujharr said, you have to hold it against your leg. Mine has a 9" blade on it.

btw, that Eskimo turns slow and doesn't cut well at all. The blade is sharp as a razor, but the motor just doesn't turn up fast enough. I've screwed with the caborator, taken the air filter off, nothing seems to work. It's got a ring around the bottom of the auger, I've thought about cutting that off to see if that mad any difference. Any suggestions? It's an older model. 9300 I think?

I already started lifting weights and have been doing pushups...  I should be ready... but I'm sure there will be pics if I get taken out....

lefty .email jiffy . they will send you a free 2 handle conversion kit for it. we did my fathers 3yrs. ago. no more twisted wrists.

Thanks Steve...  I planned on getting all the info I could on it, once I had the model number...  I figure I have time to give it a good tune up and get all the need parts, auger blade and such...
