I dont recall my Muck insole being anything phenomenal ..but I did try a thermal insole as a replacement ..but in the long run took up some space ..Just get a replacement compatible thickness insole ..maybe one with a lil arch support  ;)2.

Hadda go look at my brand new Arctic Sports to see what was inside. Sure doesn't look like much of an insole and I think you can do better than Muck brand. I've replace insoles on all my new work shoes for decades because A.) They didn't last very long and B.) Were not much of a cushion walking concrete all day. At first it was Forest and Field brand I got at local Fleet Farms. They discontinued those and offered insoles from Thorogood (Ultimate Shock Absorption Footbed). They were even better. I know, not sexy name brands but great insoles with arch support and more of a rubbery deal as opposed to the foamy thing that was in my Muck. Don't know what you've got near you but I never spent more than $15 and they lasted years of daily use.

Remps17 you should be able to find Dr.Scholl's insoles at most supermarkets and chain drug stores. The Thorogood insoles Esox-xtm mentioned are from Merrill,WI. the company makes work boots and shoes besides the insoles. Some other brands you could look for are Red Wing out of Minnesota and Spenco. Below is a link to Thorogood website Weinbrenner is the company name and Thorogood brand name for their foot wear.

www.weinbrennerusa.com   If you are happy with the insoles the Muck boots came with see how the prices compare between Muck ,Thorogood and Red Wing. I'found some of DR.Schools foam type insoles to compress a lot of time in the area of your big toe. I hope this is of some help to you. I checked to see if the link work it does scroll to the bottom of home  page and click on word accessories you will find 4 different insoles models listed among the 3 pages of items.

The muck insole was not anything special- mine was so thin it kept folding up in the toe of the boot, and I threw it away for my summer pair. If it was me, I would steal some insole from an old pair of running shoes, and see if it fit well enough.

Yep. I was not impressed with the OE insole. I'll be slipping a pair of Thorogoods  in before I even use 'em a first time. And hwdh, thanks for the reminder about those thermal deals. they don't have any support to speak of but if there's room in my 12s for both those (yep, I got a pair of them knocking around somewhere too) both are going in. Thermals first and then the support.
