Christmas Goodies
« on: Dec 26, 2021, 06:24 PM »
Seeing how I'm an orphan now I have to be my own Santa so dropped some dough on a couple of new toys for me.
Got a new Garmin 95sv UHD on the way for my boat. T'was on sale @ Cabelas.ca $670 savings.
Also got a new 12" dual bevel sliding miter saw and saved $368 on that one.
Thankyou Santa!!!!  ;

All I got for Xmas was one of those garmin inreach thingy’s.  Wife says I gotta have it before I head out on a little 6 week trip later this year.  Drifter your going to love that unit, I have the 74sv and it’s super nice for making your own topos.  I finally broke down and got the livescope setup for mine and I’ll be able to use it on the boat and on the hardwater.  What I really like about mine is how user friendly it is, garmin made it real easy for technologically declined people like myself to use and understand.
I was born an Alaskan I just didn't live here at the time.

It's going to be #3 on my boat.
I have a 7 & 9 at the helm now.
The 7 is moving to the bow and my current 9 will move into the 7's spot and the new one into the older 9's spot.

No GPS in the SxS yet but have a bunch of portables.
I could set it up to put my 7" in there in the winter though.  ;)
Yes I can drive up the path. Went up the path on Christmas day with the plow on.
Bottomed out the plow mount a couple of times coming down the hill but no big issues.
