Trying to get some info on Indian lake not sure if not a lot of people fish it or if it's one of those good lakes that no one likes to talk about because it's really good or it's just really tuff to fish.Anyone??

You can enter tourney, and get on lake at Indian Lake Islandsstate campsite.
If you go out on lake from their, go about 1.5 miles, you’ll then be in laker water.

Didn't there used to be an all water Hamilton county thread?
I'm not saying they're biting on Brant.  But they probably are

We wanted to fish it last weekend and a buddy took a ride up the day before and said the campgrounds were closed and the gates locked. We wanted to get at the deeper water on the north end but sounds like all
Private access. He did say you could get on at the south end but would have to go 8 miles up the lake to get to the north end.?

I know this weekend they'll have the campground lot plowed as they did last year. There was a 50-75 cars and 6 ny dec officers collecting money lol. Most water Hamilton county thread doesn't have much info on Indian lake. The access is difficult and yes at least 10-15 min ride by machine to deep water.Should be interesting this year I hear there is a good amount of snow. Thanks for info. tight lines everyone

There’s 12-14 inches of ice, with 6-12 inches of snow, and slush.
