I was on the ice today folks but we did have a destination for a species we rarely fish for nor are they common up here as of yet but closer too us than I thought . . LOL
Might have got wet but coulda but wouldn't . LOL
Headed in different direction and went for known cold water species that we had been prefishing for the meet and greet that week and wet socks may be cool but I like screamers and digging kind of fish through the ice . One screecher on light line is worth more than a bend in the rod . LOL ( TD philosophy 101 and smile

I'm not done yet on the ice but soon I will be and you will find we shift over to MFF the sister one to this one Iceshanty .com . Mostly same people as here on Ontario forum My Fishfinder.com

The Ottawa lads reports and pics were great and memorable . Great to have folks from all parts of Ontario reporting .
Germ : as always lad, your reports on Simcoe ice conditions and the bite are crucial part of Ontario Iceshanty and your personable manner in showing our friends to the south good ol canuck hospitality is appreciated I'm sure .

The man Grump and BW and Thriller . Grump you lads get them inline will ya so the names stay the same . I'm getting old dontcha know .
Changes are good but names are hard .
Manitoba had some great fundraisers and causes this year and I even seen some of you on TV .
The one that really struck my mind was the Brian Leclair thought to those,,, who are cancer victims home care providers . My hats off to all of you and the ones who helped make it a sucess .
We in Ontario also had one and Keeping Kids Warm was it . I enjoyed the year and hope to see you at MFF . Great time
